The standard reference work "Kartellrecht: Deutsches und Europäisches Recht" (Cartel Law. German and European Law") by Ulrich Loewenheim / Karl M. Meessen / Alexander Riesenkampff has now been published in a completely revised 2nd edition (2009). BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner and cartel law expert Prof Jan Bernd NORDEMANN has also made key contributions to this new edition. He contributes commentary on § 1 GWB (Prohibition on Agreements Restricting Competition), § 2 GWB (Exempted Agreements), § 3 GWB (Cartels of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises) and § 30 GWB (Price Binding for Newspapers and Magazines). GRUR 03/07 with article of BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner on copyright contract law and antitrust law.
The current edition of GRUR from March 2007 contains a new article by BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT partner Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann entitled „Copyright Contract Law and the New Antitrust Law Pursuant to Art. 81 EU and § 1 GWB [Act Against Restraints of Competition]“. In this article, Prof. Dr. Nordemann examined in particular the antitrust restrictions for copyright licences, that result from the ban on competition restrictive agreements pursuant to art. 81 EU and § 1 GWB. The professional journal GRUR is regarded as Germany’s leading magazine in the area of intellectual property. Our antitrust expert, Prof. Dr. Nordemann, is a substantial co-author in the new standard commentary for German and European Antitrust Law "Loewenheim/Meesen/Riesenkampff", published by C.H. Beck, Munich. The commentary of the so-called "Grey Line" was first published in 2005 with vol. 1 "European Antitrust Law". In April 2006, vol. 2 "German Antitrust Law" was published. Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann has authored the commentary for section 1 German Antitrust Law (prohibition of contractual restraints of competition), section 2 German Antitrust Law (exempted agreements), section 3 German Antitrust Law (cartells of medium sized companies) and section 30 German Antitrust Law (price fixing for newspapers and journals).

In WRP 1996, pp. 383-385 Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann published, "Wettbewerbsverzerrung durch die ِffentliche Hand: Die Entdeckung des Kartellrechts" (Distortion of competition by the state: the discovery of anti-trust law).
Prof. Dr. Jan Bernd Nordemann, partner at BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT, wrote a Comment on a decision of the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf in MMR 2004, p. 618 et seqq., which dealt with anti-trust issues in respect of the usage of SIM cards in GSM gateways.
