
Dipl.-Inform. Dr. rer. nat. Jakob Valvoda

studied computer science at the RWTH Aachen University, Germany and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). After finishing his diploma he was involved in research on interactive immersive media in the areas of medical sciences and neurosciences and founded the Life Science team within the Virtual Reality group at RWTH Aachen University. In his doctoral thesis (2007) he researched real time simulation of virtual human models in virtual environments.
Jakob Valvoda joined BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in 2008. The focus of his work is in the prosecution of patents and utility models in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering and medical engineering. He is particularly involved with computer-implemented and software-based inventions with regard to operating systems, processor design, high performance computing, interactive media, virtual and augmented reality, human-machine interaction, sensor technology and computer-assisted medical engineering. His expertise also covers video and image processing, computer graphics, telecommunications, communications engineering and automation.
Jakob Valvoda is also a member of the Gesellschaft für Informatik (German Informatics Society)
