studied chemistry at the University of Hamburg and at Bangor University (Wales). He worked as a research associate at the Institute of Technical and Macromolecular Chemistry of the University of Hamburg. He received his PhD in organometallic catalyzed polymerization (Ziegler- Natta-Catalysis).
He joined BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in 1999 where he deals with all industrial property matters. His work focuses particularly on all aspects of chemistry and pharmaceutics, particularly technical and polymer chemistry, including polymer physics. His clients include numerous national and international companies from the fields of synthetic material chemistry and technology, catalysis, organic semiconductor technology, food technology, and pharmaceuticals.
Volker Scholz is a member of the Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP), the Licensing Executives Society (LES), the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and the German Chemical Society (GdCh).
