Dr.-Ing. Matthias Philipp

studied mechanical engineering at the University of Hannover and the Université de Montpellier in France. He obtained his PhD in the fields of analysis of combustion processes after working for several years as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of combustion technology of the University of Karlsruhe.
He has worked as an expert in patent law at BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT since 1992. His special interests include all fields of process and mechanical engineering. His work involves obtaining, enforcing and defending industrial property rights on a national and international level. He also advises employers and employees on the law relating to employee inventions and design protection.
