Dipl.-Phys. Dr. rer. nat. Pit Boye
studied physics at teh Reinisch-Westfälischen Technischen Hochschule (RWTH) Aachen. After finishing his diploma he worked as a scientist at the Deutschen Elektronensynchrotron (DESY) in Hamburg. Subsequently he did his PhD at the Institute of Structural Physics of the Technical University Dresden. During his PhD he worked on the development and fabrication of nanofocusing refractive x-ray lenses. Due to his studies and his PhD his particular interests lie especially in condensed matter physics and x-ray analytics as well as in semiconductors and nanotechnology.
