
Klaus Behrndt Dipl. Phys. Dr.
German Patent Attorney, European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney, Partner, Munich
studied Physics at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University Greifswald and at the Humboldt University Berlin. In his Diploma thesis he investigated boundary effects in quantum field theories and in phase transitions. After completing his PhD in theoretical high energy physics (string theory) he held postdoctoral positions with the Deutsche Elektronensynchrotron Hamburg, the Humboldt University Berlin and the LMU Munich. In addition, he held fellowships at Stanford University (USA), the California Institute of Technology (Pasadena, USA) and the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics in Potsdam. He qualified as a university professor in 1998 in the same field as his PhD.
He has worked for BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT since 2010. His clients include companies from the fields of electrical engineering, signal processing and optical components. His particular interests relate to telecommunications, data processing, semiconductor technology and optoelectronics.
