Dr.-Ing. Walter Hoormann
German Patent Attorney, European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney, Partner, Bremen
studied general mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Hannover (later Hannover University). After several years in which he first worked as a R+D Engineer, and then as scientific Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Hannover, he wrote his doctorate thesis in the area of vibration/oscillation handling technology, particularly the damping of conveyed material, and the mass coupling thereof.
In 1971, together with the partners Wilhelm J.H. Stahlberg and Prof. Dr. Heinz Goddar, he founded the law firm BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in its current form. His extensive patent attorney work covers many fields of mechanical engineering in particular materials handling technology.
Dr. Hoormann is a member of GRUR, EPI, LES and BDP as well as other organizations. He has lectured for many years on intellectual property law at the Wilhelms-University in Münster.
