Attorney at Law (Germany), admitted at the European Trade Mark Office, Partner, Munich
studied law at the Philipps-Universität in Marburg and at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. For his doctorate thesis, he researched fundamental questions of Software Contract Law. Before moving to BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in 2007, he worked for another well-known Munich law firm in the field of industrial property rights, and dealt particularly with contentious matters.
At BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT, Eckart Warnke advises and represents domestic and foreign companies of various sizes, including on matters involving intellectual property and competition law. He is particularly interested in the interface between Information Technology and Law. His practice is focused on transnational trademark prosecution as well as on litigation, and particularly trademark and patent infringement proceedings both in and out of court. He is also involved in the fight against product piracy. His clients include companies from a wide variety of different sectors.
Eckart Warnke is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR), as well as the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Proprieté Intellectuelle (AIPPI), and the Licensing Executives Society (LES).
