Dr. jur. Katrin Seibt
Attorney at Law (Germany), admitted at the European Trade Mark Office, Partner, Bremen
studied law at the Humboldt-University and at the Freie University Berlin. After her first bar exam, she was a research associate under Prof. Dr. F.-J. Säcker at the Institute of German and European Commercial Law of the Freie University of Berlin. During this time, she performed research in the fields of unfair competition law and intellectual property law. Her doctorate thesis deals with a comparative study of the protection of three-dimensional trade marks in various legal systems.
She was admitted to the bar in 2003 and specialises in trade mark and unfair competition law. She focuses, in particular, on the areas of trade mark research and application as well as trade mark defence in opposition and infringement proceedings.
